Just bought a Brand new Laptop and cant activate Microsoft Office

Question
-
I bought a ASUS K52F-BBR5 from best buy about a week ago. In the system properties all the way down says it's activated, but today i wanted to use Microsoft Office and asked for the Product Key. So i go ahead and read it carefully and made sure and typed it in and said its not a valid product key, even though its takes about 10 seconds and then it states that message. Heres the report from that tool you guys ask for Please help I dont want to go through returning my laptop and all that stuff. Thanks guys.

The key from the sticker on the bottom of the PC, or in the battery compartment is a COA_SLP key for windows, it is not for office, if your computer shipped with a full version of office the key will be included with disks and a COA for office. Most likely what you have is a trial version of office which comes on virtually every PC from larger OEMs

Depending on your situation the cost may vary. For example if you are a student or have students living with you you may qualify for the home and student version, or if you have a previous version you may be able to purchase an upgrade. Visit the MS store and browse for a product that fills your needs.
