I use an Iomega external hard drive lDHD250-U When I try to run the back up, the back up accumulates the data, but then locks up after about 1% of the data is backed up. It worked in the past. I reformatedthe drive, but it still does the same thing.

Try running chkdsk on your C: drive then run backup. If backup fails again please contact support. How to reach support -
