Hello mgbgt933,
Genuine CDs do not have product keys on them. Genuine CDs are sold by Microsoft and distrubuted by legitmate manufacturers and retailers with Genuine Product Keys.
If an installation of Office is nongenuine, and you extract the PK that did the installation, and it matches with the PK that came with your CDs, then that PK is nongenuine. If the PK that came with the CDs is not the same as the nongenuine PK installed, then there is a chance that the PK that came with the CDs is genuine.

Hello mgbgt933,
Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:
OGA Data-->
Office Status: 114 Blocked VLK 2
Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 - 114 Blocked VLK 2

You wrote, "I have the original CD and numbers."
The report is telling us that you have a nongenuine installation of a Volume Licensing-only edition of Office 2003 Pro. Your installation was done with a now-blocked Volume Licensing Key (VLK).
Volume Licensing editions of Office such as your installation of Office 2003 Professional are not to be sold to individual consumers, and are only to be sold to larger businesses, educational institutions, and governmental agencies who need flexibility in installing and deploying many copies of Office.
These Volume Licenses should not be sold to consumers because they are not permanent licenses; they are subject to a current Volume Licensing Agreement that has a finite term, sort of like a lease. Consumers thinking they purchased permanently licensd software would understandably be upset when their software stopped working at the end of a lease.
If you purchased Office 2003 Professional thinking you were buying genuine retail Office Professional for consumers with a permanent license, please return the software to the place of purchase for replacement or a full refund.
You can also review the Office Genuine Advantage FAQ to see if you qualify for the discounted or complimentary replacement program called the Office Genuine Offer: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/FAQ.aspx?displaylang=en&sGuid=4ba10af9-ffaa-4cb9-9af4-6aff8a220262#ID0EKNAC

Dan,
Thanks for your answer, I suspected that you would be saying this from previous posts/answers. My version of Office comes supplied on a Hewlett-Packard CD "only for distribution with HP business desktops". I bought this CD, with the product key on the sleeve, from a small family business that ceased trading. They had 4 HP PCs and 4 HP Office CDs that they were getting rid of. All software had been removed from the PCs, except Windows. So, although the CD states for use on a HP PC, it was no longer installed on one but on my PC and has been working fine for years.
I noted on a related post, that OGAAddin.dll in the Windows/system32 folder is responsible for the "Not genuine" pop up messages. This file appears on my PC installed on 3rd August 2009 which is when I last downloaded updates to Office 2003. Advice on this post was to delete this file. After taking a system restore point, I have deleted this file and the "8 days remaining, not genuine message" has ceased to appear. Not sure if future updates will be downloaded though.
I do not intend to purchase another version of Office, hopefully this version will continue to work OK, probably minus any future updates.
Thanks again for your response.Saturday, September 19, 2009 12:34 PM -
Hello mgbgt933,
All the report can tell us is about the Office that is installed on the PC at the time the report is run.
There is a possibility that the current Office 2003 installation was not done with the CDs that you have, and that changing the installation to what is on the CD may correct the situation, assuming of course that the HP CDs you mentioned will install Genuine Office.
Once way to check is to look for the [drive_letter]:\files\owc11\setup.ini file on the CD. The produt GUID can be cross-referenced to the data in this MS KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832672/ to determine what edition of Office will be installed by the CD.
Another method would be to compare the Product Keys. Use a keyfinding utility such as Magical Jellybean to extract the PK from the current installation of Office. Then compare it to the PK that came with the HP CDs. If they are the same, then that verifies that the CDs you purchased were nongenuine. If they are different, you may be able to correct the situation by changing the nongenuine installed PK using the presumably Genuine PK that came with the CDs. The MS KB article below tell syou how to change an Office PK:

Dan,
I'm confused about your PK comparison check. If the PK on my PC loaded Office is the same as the PK on the CD, why is it non-genuine? Surely if they are the same, then the version of Office on the PC is the same as that on the CD. So on the basis that the CD is genuine, then Office must be genuine too.Saturday, September 19, 2009 7:28 PM -
