This is our planned setup.
We have 3 departments - Dept A, Dept B and Dept C. Each department will be handling their own project on the same Project Server. Some tasks will be dependent on another task in another department.
What we have planned is that each department manager will have a Project Pro 2010 on their desk, while the Leads and team members will be driving the project from the PWA.And we have hit a roadblock.
When Leads or Members update the task schedules (the number of days), other linked tasks from the same project get updated immediately but the update fails to propogate to the other projects. Is this normal? Or are we doing something wrong?
What I also noticed was that it would get updated quite easily if it was opened with Project Pro 2010.
