Windows 7 was genuine but now it's not RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recently had problems with my computer I bought from Cyberpower PC, so I had to send it in for them to fix it. When I got it back my computer was reset and so was my windows. So when I put in my windows key from before that came on the side of my computer, it had said it was not genuine. Nothing changed on my computer, it's the same old thing, so I don't see why my same code will not work.

  • 1. Download the Microsoft Genuine Advantage diagnostic tool. Click Run, and then click Continue.

The tool will scan your computer, and then provide a summary of your computer's settings and system details that will help the MGA support team understand the problem.

To copy your results to the Clipboard, click Copy.

    2. Return to this post and Paste the results.  A MGA volunteer expert will analyze it and offer troubleshooting suggestions.  Thank you!
