Assocuiated View of Contracts under Contact entity appear any contacts RRS feed

  • Hi All,

     We upgraded our CRM environment from 2011 to 2013. This environment was being upgraded from CRM 1.0.

    After upgrading to CRM 2013 I cannot see Contracts for a Contact (As primary Contact to the Contract and Customer is an Account)  under Contract Associated view.

    But if the Contact is a Customer to the Contract then I can see the Contracts under Contracts Associated View.

    Same issue as mentioned in http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/915839/en-gb though this is for CRM 3.0 , I am not sure if this issue resurfaced for an environment which was upgraded from CRM 3.0.

    I tried the following steps

    1. Created new Organization

    2. Customized Contact form to Show Contracts (Under Navigation bar)

    3. Added an Account(test account1) and Added a Contact(Test Contact 1) to the new Organization

    4. Created Contract with Customer as "Test Acocunt 1" and Primary Contact as "Test Contact 1".

    5. Checked the "Contracts Associated view" , I didn't see any Contracts.

    6. Changed the Contract Customer to "Test Contact 1" then I can see Contracts under Contract Associated View.

    is anyone faced this issue? This looks like a bug but before I open case with Microsoft I want to check.
