Custom public view does not display on advanced find RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Everyone,

I created a new view called 'Accounts without activities' programmatically by copying an existing view and altering its fetchxml to include an outer join. It displays fine in the account list view, but it is not visible in the advanced find view. I tried to create an other instance with querytype=1 (Advanced find), but it didn't help. Can you help how it is possible to also add the view to the advanced find window?

    Regards,

    Adam

  • After some additional research, it seems that views which utilize a custom fetchXML query cannot appear in the advanced find vew, because the query cannot be translated back to a set of conditions which are present in the CRM query builder.

  • You need to save the view and refresh in order to see it in Advanced Find

  • Yes, I already did that. I also published the entity, but it did not seem to help.
