  • Here is the link.

Actually this survey popup is something like a "captcha", to prove you see it and can click it off, or foil bots.  (as anything devised by MS, it works only so-so... but perfectly annoys users).

Earlier, when one clicked to accept the survey, it would say: thank you but the survey is full / closed now, not available in your region, etc, maybe next time.

  • That one for me renders the very unhelpful "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."

  • Same result if I'm logged in.

I also tried from a browser where I wasn't logged in and got a page doesn't exist instead.

  • Well... it looks like this survey "entry point" is defunct for a long time, nothing to worry about.

  • I think it needs to be communicated to fissues, would you please?

    And yes, sounds quite unprofessional.

  • I clicked on several links yesterday and got the page Mike posted: the page doesn't exist, try searching for what you need. I forget what I was researching, but if I remember and find the links I will post here.

Edit: Here are two of the links, but it is about LimitLogin, which only is supported on Windows Server 2003 and older, so perhaps the kb article is retired:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/237282

But this one is about GPO and run logon scripts synchronously:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304970

The links were good in April, 2012.

Edit November 4, 2016: Both the links above now work.
