CRM Dynamics - Assign cases issue RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I have a webpage dialog which is specific for assigning cases. When you click assign under the case tab, there is a webpage dialog which reads "Assign to team or user" and gives two options. I want to edit it to "only assign team". Can someone help me with it ?

  • You cannot customize the assign window in any supported way. What you can do is to add validation so that only assingning to team is allowed. You would have to write a validation plugin and register it on the assign message. In your plugin execution you verify if the asignee is a team and if not, you can throw and InvalidPluginExecutionException with a custom error message. The user will see your error message and the operation wil lbe rolled-back. For that you must register your plugin in transaction.
