Office 2003 Product Key no longer works. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I tried to load Office 2003 on a new computer I bought and the program claims that the PRODUCT KEY is invalid; how can this be?  This is the 4th computer I've loaded it on (not sure why that should make any difference).  Here is the required diagnostic report as well:

There is no problem with your Windows installation, according to the MGADiag report.

  • A retail version of Office 2003 is licensed for just two (2) computers:  (1) desktop and (1) portable, such as a notebook.  You therefore cannot install it on more than two (2) computers.

Excuse for my intervention in this thread, but I just wanted to know: what about Office 2007? How many computers is it licensed for? And Office 2010?

(Or could I find the answer somewhere else?)

    Thanks.

  • The terms differ according to which edition of Office - check your EULA for details, or look here.
