Live Meeting Hosted by Office Communications Server RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm not sure if the is the right forum, but i'm having a hard time finding out information on Live Meeting 2007 which is hosted by our OCS R2 Server (This is not Live Meeting Hosted Service).

Anyhow my question is: Is there a way to capture an attendance report of all the users who joing a live meeting?

This report is availalbe from the Hosted Service, and is documented in this article:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938844

But i'm looking for a way to generate this report for our in house live meetings which we host internally.

  • Chris,

This will require a Monitoring server, but it is possible.  Once you have monitoring server installed and a server designated to run reports from open up https://servername/reportserver  (where the reporting services live).

Go to the OCS Rerports Home Page, from here we have 2 options: totals and individual.  Totals is a little more obvious to get:

Under Activity Summary Reports (CDR) choose Conference Activity
This will show you daily totals for conferences

For individual conference use you can do this:
Under Media Quality Reports (QoE) choose User Reports
search any memeber of the conference
find the conference/Live Meeting under "Conference Calls" in users call list and click detail
This will show all attendees, what method they used to access and how long they were on

    Hope this helps

  • Hello,
i am not completely sure about it, but maybe the Reporting Server Role is recording this information.
If so, you just need the right query towards the Database to generate the report you are looking for...

  • Thanks guys for all the responses.  Yes, seems like Monitoring server is where you can find this information, however as kevin mentioned, the report was not that obvious.
