Horrible Post editor bugs

Question
-
Ok, this is with Firefox 2, for reference.
First of all:
- Clicking on FontName brings up the dropdown at a fixed location on the page, so it's only valid if you *don't* scroll down. If you scroll down, you can't even see the horrible thing. Same thing applies to Font Size selection.
Try it. Scroll down the page and use it.
- Why on earth does it mess with my formatting?!
What I see in the post editor is horribly different to what I get when I post!
If I highlight some text and set it to Courier New, it looks ok in the editor, but when you post, it goes back to Arial or whatever the default is!
If I edit the HTML and put <pre> tags around it, it looks Ok in the editor, but when you post, they have no effect!
Bloody hell.
Can we please just get [code] tags and a not-so-rich text editor?! Can you make it similar to vBulletin or whatever Autodesk uses for The Area (http://area.autodesk.com/index.php/forums/) Their text editor is infinitely better! It's a joy to use. Oh, and it's relatively simple too.

Scorpion:
What browser are you using? The first problem with the FontName dropdown occurs for me only on SeaMonkey/FireFox. It works correctly on IE6 (I haven't tried IE7).
However on both Mozilla and IE6, if I scroll the main window while the drop-down is shown, the dropdown scrolls with the window.
I agree that the Reply window is just awful. See the post

About the only thing I like about the new Reply window as compared to the old forums is that my Mozilla spell-checker works in it.

Indeed, I'm using Firefox 2 (as my first sentence stated :)).
I just found another bug just by clicking on your link when previewing the thread :).
It takes you to the wrong place. You have to first view the thread, then click.
I'll make a separate thread for this one.
