You can create the html e-mail by placing any images you need on a website with external access. Build your html code and render it in a browser. copy the rendered code and paste it into an e-mail template in CRM and ensure your image links correctly point to the external website link. Send a test e-mail campaign to ensure the e-mail displays as expected and make any adjustments needed.

All true, unless you want to have those fancy embedded images in the e-mail. Then the pure out of the box solution is to use the Marketing module and create a mail merge activity. When you go to distribute it, it will allow you to use a predefined Word document that can embed an image. Then just shoot them out through your CRM Client connected Outlook and they will be sent and created in CRM as well.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 10:51 PM

Thank you all for your help, I will review all the options and see what will work for us. I personally think it is an important feature that Microsoft should consider in upcoming product releases.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 11:46 PM
