Is there a way to submit an HPC job without prompting for username and password. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Our users currently submit jobs to a C-Squared grid and don't get prompted for username and password.  Is there a way to do the same with HPC?  Can their credentials some how be passed through?  They do not want to be stopped and asked for either.

  • For all of v1 (2003), v2 (2008), and the RTM version of v3 (2008 R2) we need credentials entered for every machine that submits jobs to the cluster. In our next service pack to v3 we will reduce that to only requiring the credentials to be entered once per user per cluster (so no longer client machine-specific)
