I would like to delete this thread as it is related to unix and by mistake I have posted here.

Hi Babu,
Each forum has its own set of moderators, so there's not much I can personally do about this. Perhaps a moderator of the Visual C++ forum will see this and delete the thread for you.
Alternatively, you can reach out to the forums admins directly by sending an email to fissues (at) microsoft [dot] com. Include a link to the thread and I'm sure they'll be able to help you get this thread deleted.
EDIT: Naomi - there's several replies to the thread in question, so deletion will need moderator/admin intervention.

This is a bad idea especially when thread has replies. Removing text from the thread shows disrespect for the members who spent time answering.
