Can't get site verified with meta tag etc RRS feed

    I have seen that many people in the past have reported this problem so I am assuming that there is a solution; I just can't find it.

     

    As of today '26th June 2008' I still can't get verification of my site so that I can start using webmaster tools.

     

    I have checked & double checked the meta data. I check the source of my webpage as displayed in the browser and it matches perfectly, so why do I still get the 'We weren't able to authenticate the website' please try again message.

     

    Help would be appreciated A.S.A.P. as my clients are now starting to suffer.

    Hi Jonathan,

     

    I believe we are still having spotty issues registering domains not hosted in the US. Have you tried using the xml validation? We hope to get this worked out soon. Until then, please understand that our tools are still in beta and continuously being worked on to fix errors.
