Connection inpossible.... Why RRS feed

  • Question

  • I use WHS for almost a year, now for 3 systems, one WinXP, one Vista, one Win7.
All systems are uptodate (updates are installed automatically, last update on Win7: jan 16 2010), PP3 has been installed.
    I make backups normally manually.
All of a sudden, the Win7 system does not longer connect to WHS --- other systems and their WHS Console work as usual.
When starting the Console on Win7 system I get an error: this computer cannot connect to your home server.
There is a _network connection_: the WHS is in shown in Win7 Explorer Network, Shared folders can be browsed, etc.
What is the matter, what can I do?

Are you able to successfully ping your server, both by name and by IP address?  Can you run ipconfig /all from your server and Win7 client, then post both results here?
