Could not able to run the Email Router service RRS feed

  • Dear CRM Professionals,

    The EMail Router stopped all of sudden and not restarting the email router services when I restart from services.msc.

    *I am sys admin over the server, have deployment admin rights and system admin rights.

    The Event Logs are here:

    The description for Event ID 16192 from source MSCRMEmail cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

    If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

    The following information was included with the event:

    #16192 - The Email Router service could not run the service main background thread. The Email Router service cannot continue and will now shut down. System.Configuration.Configuration ErrorsException: System information was not specified in the Email Router service configuration file. The Email Router service cannot continue and will now shut down. ---> System.Xml.XmlException: Root element is missing.
