windows server 2008 r2 activation issue

  • while windows activation error messages comes like this ..

    this pre -release version of windows has expired. to keep using windows back up your files ,and then install any released

    edition of windows server 2008 r2 enterprise.

  • I would have though this was fairly self-explanatory - it looks like you have a Release Candidate installed, rather than the finished version.

    The original RC expired back in April 2010.

    The SP1 RC expired back in  about June 2011.

    If it lets you in at all, run an MGADiag report and post the results.

    we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
    Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
    To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
