Points history RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

It seems that I have had my recogintion points decreased. So does many others by judging from the bug report forum. Mine dropped from about 1500 to 900 and with more than 100 answered posts this doesn't seem right.

Is there any possiblity to add a feature that can show some sort of history for points? Like where they came from and the reason?

  • I was looking for another post but only found this one.  Someone had complained about not being able to find out or see how many points they had when you clicked on the users name.

Select Browse All Users, then search for the user's name.

  • Are the current points using the final algorithm? I'm fairly certain I lost about 200 points in the move. Not as earth shattering as some, but a little frustrating.

  • Yes, points are now using the corrected algorithm.

Is there a reason that this information isn't included on the user's profile page like it was before?  Searching for a user seems like a terrible clunky way to get information that should be readily available.  I find myself often checking user's stats to look at their post/points ratio to see if they have a trend of helpful/answer posts or just have a lot of posts.
