I have purchased a version of windows 7 from an on line retailer, DVD not working, when tried to download from microsoft source product key not validating please check if key is genuine and report to <redacted> product key: XXXXX_XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-M8X92

We cannot check Product Keys here.

You would need to call the MS Activation Center and as them to check the Key.
