wgaplugininstall.exe RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am running Windows XP with all the current updates.  I have downloaded and "opened" the install SW.  Now where is it so I can use it?  My purpose of course is to backup my outlook files .pst.  I thought I'd find it under tools in my browser either Firefox or MS.  Ain't there!

  • How can this be off topic?  Alert Me's question is a logical question brought about by a Microsoft notification that Alert Me's copy of Windows needs validation.  When following Microsoft links, every one leads to WgaPluginInstall.exe.  So, how do I get it and/or where is it located in my computer?

  • Bear in mind that this post was made in 2008 - THREE YEARS ago!

There is no mention in the OP of any problem with WGA - and he appears not to have a problem in that respect.

If YOU are having such a problem, I suggest that your repost, with a LOT more details, in your OWN NEW thread, so that someone can assist.
