Digital Line Detect message when sharing applications RRS feed

  • A Dialog Box appears multiple times when I attempt to share a session. It contains the following message:

     

    Digital Line Detect

    Digital Line Detected (PBX). Please verify that the phone line from your computer is directly connected to a standard analog modem or phone line.

     

    It does not prevent application sharing from operating.

    Could you please tell us more about your scenario?  Do you have some sort of PBX software installed?  Do you only see this dialog when using application sharing from SharedView?  Thanks.

  • I am running Mitel VOIP software. The dialog only appears when using application sharing.

    Are you using a Dell PC?  I've seen several forum posts (on other forums) about this error by searching using "Digital Line Detected".  I cannot recommend these suggested solutions but here are links to them - http://forums.startly.com/community/viewtopic.php?=&p=928 , http://www.savemybutt.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,88888904/topic,1366.msg7153/ .  There were posts in the dell support forum as well.  Thanks.

    I am using a Dell. I downloaded a patch from the Dell Web-site that appears to hae corrected the problem.  Thanks for your help.
