  • Question

  • My computer came with the trial version and the Actvation Assistant. Before its end date, I renewed via the code on the 3- user box I had purchased , instead of loading the by the CD (as I had done on another computer 'cause I didn't know any better!). By code is much quicker. Everything works OK. The Activation Assistant and possibly the trial version seem to still be around. Will these eventually go away? Will they cause any problems? Thanks.g.

  • Hi Stephen-

Thanks for your reply. This forum seemed the closest to the issue at hand of the many I had looked at.

Microsoft.com cust service didn't know the answer either.

I did read your article of July 10,2007 " Conversion Information of Office 2007 System Trials". Good info.

    Thanks again.g.
