After Virus Cannot validate windows xp

Question
-
I am using Windows XP professional with SP2, however I do have SP3 installed and ie8 beta 2. It is not an OEM edition.
I have run Spybot and Avast Antivirus and appear to have removed any issues.
I have tried all resolutions in this thread http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798 barring reinstalling windows.
However I still am unable to validate windows. I should make it clear I was previously validated before the virus.
I have run the diagnostic with the following results
