Installing CRM 2011 on SQL 2012 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All

Business Intelligence Development Studio no longer exists in 2012 but the CRM Deployment Manager is asking for it...does anyone know a work around for this?

Its now SQL Data Services, CRM doesn't recognise the difference and its stubbornly fighting for SQL 2008 BIDS.

    Thanks

    Dave

  • Someone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you'll need to continue to use SQL Server 2008 BIDS to customize reports for the time being. As I understand it it, "official" SQL Server 2012 support will come with the 2012 Q2 Service Release

  • Dave,

JLattimer is correct. The official support for SQL Server 2012 is coming with the 2012 Q2 Service Release which hopefully be RTM-ed soon.
