Change network drive path RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all,

i have this topic. Almost all the pc in my network have a network drive that point to a path "\\server\share".

I would like to change this path to "\\new_server\share" using a logon script. The problem is that each use a different network drive that point to the same share, for example

    PC1 - X: points to \\server\share

    PC2 - H: points to \\server\share

    PC3 - L: point to \\server\share

then the script has to extract the actual network drive, disconnect it, and then connect the same network drive to the new path.

Do you have a script that, more or less, do this ?

    Thank you.
