Hello Hobroru,
Right now, your Dell OptiPlex 330 computer has a Volume Licensing edition of XP Pro installed (Line 10), and that installation was done with a now-blocked Volume Licensing Key (VLK) (Line 2). VLKs are blocked by Microsoft at the request of the original keyholder for such reasons as the key was lost, stolen, compromised, misused, or expired. Also, MS may have blocked the key if it notices a pattern of misuse, ie, more installations of XP using that key than authorized.
As a rule, VL editions of XP should not be sold to individual consumers. Businesses, schools and gov'ts normally use VL editions for flexibility in installing many computers. Also, Volume Licenses for Windows XP are Upgrade licenses ONLY and cannot be used as the original or base license for a new computer.
This is why you were seeing the "software counterfeiting" messages on your computer, because the current installation of XP is an unauthorized installation.
Also, the report is showing that you have a Blocked Volume Licensing edition of Office 2007 Enterprise. Please uninstall this nongenuine installation of Office as soon as possible. You may be eligible to participate in the Office Genuine Offer, please see this link for details: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/office/OGAKitInformation.aspx?displaylang=en
Look on the computer or in the materials that came with your computer to see if you have a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA). If you have one, tell us about the CoA. Tell us:1. What edition of Windows XP is it for, Home, Pro, or Media Center, or for another verison of Windows?
2. Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering?
3. Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering? In your case we would expect to see "Dell."
4. DO NOT post the Product Key printed on the CoA.
Not sure what to look for? Click here: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/howtotell/en/coa.mspx
If the CoA is for Windows XP Pro, you can try to use the Product Key Updater Utility to change the nongenuine Product Key to the genuine Product Key printed on your CoA. Here is the utility: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=45668
If the CoA is for a version of Windows that is not XP Pro, please contact Dell to acquire Recovery Discs so that you can install the correct editon of Windows on your Dell: http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/dellcare/en/backupcd_form?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&redirect=1
If there is no CoA, please consider purchasing a WGA Kit so you can install genuine Windows XP Pro on your computer. Messaging telling you how to order will be displayed on your screen preriodically. Otherwise, please uninstall the nongenuine Windows XP and if the computer is capable, try the Release Candidate of Windows 7, or use a free operating system such as Linux.
