Obtaining a Product Key for XP Validation

Question
-
Hi there....
I am using the XP version of Windows, which isn't being sold anymore. So, insomuch as it's not being sold....keys are not available? I am asking if there are validation keys for XP anywhere. Thank you, appreciated, Carl

Microsoft ceased issuing new Windows XP product keys a couple years ago.

Sale of XP Keys on their own are ALWAYS counterfeit.
Sales of Retail XP packs are often also counterfeit - be very careful about who you purchase from, since all normal channels sold out long ago. It is possible to buy Full Retail packs second-hand, but again be very careful of the vendor
Sales of OEM XP packs are, again, often counterfeit - and 'second-hand' doesn't exist, since the Key is locked to the original motherboard.
In short, you're better off purchasing a newer OS.
