Draft, Archiving and Reporting databases missing from Project Server 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I just created first project web app in Project Server 2013 preview and noticed that it only gives you option to set "Project Web App database name" which I guess is called "Published database name" in Project Server 2010!?

And the following databases which are present in Project Server 2010 are missing from Project Server 2013 preview:

    Draft
    Archiving
    Reporting

So my question is, these databases are missing because it is Project Server 2013 "preview" version or did I mess up something?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

with the new version, there is only one DB. The 4 different DBs can be found back in schemas. Reporting tables have schema dbo, for being able to use existing reports. Draft DB is replaced by new schema draft in the same DB, schema pub for Published DB, ....

So you don't miss anything and you are fine with one DB.

    Success with testing!
