Dynamic Filtering in Sync Framework RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    Sorry for duplicate but I'am facing deadline soon...

    I'm facing the same problem as author of this workaround post http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/syncdevdiscussions/thread/2dd306c4-faa3-4389-9999-0c1237bf2a65

    But I don't understant what have you done to run following lines:

     // Get details on this table
    SqlSyncProviderAdapterConfiguration scopeAdapter = this._configuration.GetAdapter(table.Name);
    Collection<DbSyncColumnDescription> primaryKeys = this._configuration.GetPrimaryKeys(scopeAdapter.Columns);

     // and
    this.GetUpdateCommand(table, scopeAdapter);

    And what type is MyApplicationTable ?

    Can any one help me with this?

    Any code example?

    Regards,
    Daniel Skowroński

  • those are custom code by the poster (Steve). what he posted are just code snippets of his solution. you might want to ping him privately if he's willing to share the rest.

  • Finally we decided that we will use OData with our custom library to resolve our synchronization issues.

    We dropped idea to use Sync Framework at all.

    Thanks all for feedback.
