Mail Merge Templates and default Fields RRS feed

  • Hi All,

       I am creating many mailmerge templates (for contacts), and it's taking me a long time to do so because my contacts have custom fields I created. For example, I created a field called "Hair Color" which is a picklist.

       When I create my template, I have to manually specify that the "Hair Color" field is available to the template, and then I can create it. In truth, I have 5 such fields... and many, templates to make.

       How can I tell CRM that I want "Hair Color" to ALWAYS be available when I create a template? Thanks.
