Question

Hi,
Does anyone where where the errata for for this and the other mbs training material for CRM 2011?
There is a question in 80292a which says:
True or false: a user without a security role will not be able to access Dynamics CRM or own records
The answer it says is false.
I'm pretty sure thats meant to be true..
Thanks

Access to PartnerSource, on its own, is insufficient to gain access to the training materials. Your organization needs to purchase a Microsoft Dynamics Services Agreement which provides enhanced support services, access to the training materials and other benefits. Even with a Services Agreement, you will have access to the training student courseware, but not the instructor courseware so you won't get the errata.
With regards to the specific question, it's a bad question. Users without a security role cannot access Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You cannot assign records to a user without a security role. However, if you remove all security roles from a user any records owned by that user remain owned by that user. So, although it's uncommon, users without a security role CAN own records.

As far as I know the errata is only made available to Microsof Certified Trainers who are provided with the instructor's material, including errata. The rest of us just have to hope the answers to the exam questions are better vetted.

Thanks Neil,
Maybe I should have it then since I'm a member of Partner Source? Just out of interest am I right in thinking that the above question is wrong?
Thanks
