Bold markup keyboard shortcut not working as intended. RRS feed

  • Question

  • test

    Type: Ctrl+B  T  E  S  T  Ctrl+B ENTER

    The markup produced is <p><strong>tes</strong>t</p>

The last character is, for some reason, not bold.  This is a forum bug.   (repro in Chrome Win7)

    Similar results for italics:

    test

    But strangely, not for underline:

    test

    Weird!!

  • I am trying to get a repro of your scenario.

Unfortunately I don't have a Win7 handy now to repro this. This reply is made from Chrome on a Windows 8

  • Now trying from a Windows 7

yes ... I could repro something weird here ... it didn't happen to me exactly what you described as in my case after pressing Ctrl+B to remove the bold and when I pressed ENTER bold was set up on the next line.

    another try

it happened again and this is from IE ...

I'll file a bug. Thanks for reporting.
