Syncing reoccurring yearly appointments seriously messed up RRS feed

    I did a hard reset yesterday.  Synced all of my information with the MyPhone service.  Go to the calendar, and what do I see?  A MESS.

    On top of syncing all of my events, it duplicated recurring yearly appointments (birthdays) multiple times, randomly, all over the calendar.  On top of that, it made an entry for EVERY SINGLE recurring appointment on yesterday's date (9/20)

    I deleted most of it, but here's a screen-shot to show what I'm talking about:

    This problem is getting ridiculous.  It's been getting "fixed" since early this year.

    yep.  this problem is still happening.  i'm done with myphone.  not dealing with this every time I flash my phone.

    I've had this happen when resyncing to Exchange after a hard reset.

    Not only were a bunch of apointments doubled up, but also nearly all of the users contacts.

    We tried to solve it by doing another hard reset and that just made everything get tripled.

    User had to remove everything manually and if he deleted the wrong thing (the original recurring appointment for example) all of the duplicates would go poof too.

    Seems to be a weird bug.

    Only happened on 1 of the 40 something HTC WinMo 6.1 based phones we have.

    And since we're used to HTC having quirky firmwares we didn't bother to much with it.
