Significance/Role of using Agents in the load tests

Hi All,

Greetings!

I have one simple question, how would my test behave if I run the load test with iterations 4, constant user count 10 and number of agents 0 and when I run the same test keeping all configurations same but changing the number of agents to 2?

How will increasing the number of agents affect the overall execution of the test or what is the role of the agents in the load test?
