Folder pair drives keep changing!

Question
-
Something very weird is hapening with my SyncToy 2 today! I have 6 folder pairs from my fixed D: drive to one of my external USB drives and 6 from the same fixed D: drive to my other external USB drive. Both external drives always come up as G when I plug them and in the past, SyncToy has still recognised them and synchronized the folder pairs correctly. But when I opened SyncToy today, all the folder pairs showed as being from D: to D: in the interface!!! However when I previewed one, SyncToy looked for changes in the correct location ie: Downloads on G:
I then created a new folder pair called Silver Favourites, from D: Favourites on the left to G: Favourites on the right and immediately ran it, successfully. But after previewing another folder pair and returning to the main interface SyncToy then showed Silver Favourites as being from G: Favourites on the left to G: Favourites on the right! And when I tried to preview it, it said
Failed to execute folder pair Siver Favourites. Could not locate folder D:\Favourites!!!!
For some unknown reason, this is happening to all my folder pairs today. Any suggestions why this might be happening please?

Hi,
I am not sure if your problem got resolved. If not, my suggestion is, try to restart your OS and refresh the system, in most of situation, such problem comes from OS level. As OS sometimes did not recogonize your external drive change immediately and correctly.
With my experience when the external drive letter is changed, SyncToy maybe could not refresh at once, but it would still work well, and the drive letter info will be refreshed later.
Thanks,
Ping

Hi and thanks Ping Lu but I am very pleased to say that SyncToy has been performing perfectly OK since! So there was obviously some sort of glitch on the 23rd February, which thankfully just resolved itself without intervention! Phew - I thought I was going mad at the time. LOL.
