Activity not being logged RRS feed

  • I've been getting involved in the azure forums a bit over the last few weeks, both posting and answering questions and the activity log for me remains blank. Also, I've answered more questions in the last 30 days than some who are showing in the "top answerers" section for and I do not appear (I'm guessing that the problems are linked).

  • Hi Rob,

    We have an open bug that causes the activities for some users to get lost. This is happening for a small percentage of our users, where their activity records get into a deadlocked state. We ran a script, earlier in the week, to remove the deadlock for all users, and are investigating a permanent fix for the issue.

    We rolled out the permanent fix as part of our November release. I can see that your activities are now showing up on your profile page.

  • Looks like your points are calculating correctly, so something is able to log your activity :)

  • Hi Keddy,

    If you go to your profile or someone elses (Click on your displayname or someone else's displayname), this navigates you to the profile page. On that page, you have sub menu's such as activites, forums, code gallery, etc...

    In this case. argodev's profle (activties tab) doesn't show anything, when you contribute content such as posting a reply in Forums, this should show up in the activities tab.

  • This is not fixed after the posted changes from yesterday.

    For example:

    I am listed under "Top Answerers" with a 126.

    I am listed under "Top MVP Answerers" with a 152.

    I assume that it is not correct for these two numbers to be different ...

  • Never mind. I logged out, exited my browser, and tried again (just to be sure), and now I have 152 for both. Don't know if I had something cached?
