Sony VAIO Windows validation issue after Security Essentials removed EXPLOIT RRS feed

  • Question

  • MS Security Essentials popped up, after a scan, with three items marked EXPLOIT, which apparently made my PC vulnerable. I followed the prompts to remove them. All was well until I restarted, then Windows wasn't valid, I needed a code, and it keeps reminding me often. I don't have a bootlegged copy-- my paid one just stopped working. Here's my report. Thanks for any help!

  • There were no phone activation buttons, which really confused me, but following your instructions seemed to work somehow, even though I swear I tried it before. Thank you!
