Windows Vista with Volume Key no longer active AND WILL NOT RUN!!! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Talk about frustrating! Less than 7 days ago I installed Vista Business Edition using our government volume license key, and this morning when I logged in, I have been notified that my key is not valid, AND VISTA WILL NOT LOG ME IN AT ALL!!!! I cannot do a damn thing to fix the problem. The diagnostic tool gave me this info, but the key doesnt even resemble the key I used to activate Windows and I dont have the option of entering a new key.

WHY .... does microsoft insist on making our lives even more complicated than they already are?

If anyone has any answers, please email me at:  mike    _at_   simtechdata.com
