Remove From My Forums

Off Topic: Cannot remove former computer owner's name

I inherited a Windows Vista Home Pemium based PC from a former employee "John Doe". I have changed the user name but John Doe still appears in file name paths and the comuper desktop name (as in COMPUTERNAME\John Doe). How do I change that?

I have now changed the name on the user account, the computer name, and the registered owner's name. But a document path still shows the the previous computer owner's name! It seems to be the "public" name. How can I change that? Thanks.
