Unzipping uploaded files from website

Question
-
One feature that i would like to see would be the ability to unzip files once they have been uploaded to the server via the web interface.
So, for instance, if i upload a group of photo's to the photo directory, it'd be great if i had the option to decompress them on the server.Thursday, June 21, 2007 8:31 PM

Remote access would do it, though it's not on-the-fly.Friday, June 22, 2007 1:37 AM

Right, Remote access would do it, but i'm more thinking of if i have friends upload files or something like that to my server, someone i don't really want having remote access to my server but i would like for them to have the ability to drop files there. it'd be great if i didn't have to go in and unzip the stuff as i have a horrible memory :-)

I'll give that one a try. Right now my Home Server is down. I need to find a perm. placement for it this weekend, somewhere out of the way. Right now it is sitting in the spot my kid's computer normally sits, which obviously ticks them off :-)
Anyway, i'll give it a go. Thanks for the post!Friday, July 6, 2007 12:55 PM
