2011 Outlook Client experiencing multiple logon requests

Question
-
We are beginning to see Users with Outlook Client being repeatedly asked for their Logon and Password. We've done the usual things, Diagnostics, re-configured user, even uninstalling and re-installing. This only happens in the Outlook client, and is happening regardless of the software configuration. Happens with Windows 7 and 8, on Outlook 2007 or 2013, IE 9 or 10.
After doing diagnostic or closing/reopening Outlook the user might be good for an hour or 2, then it starts to ask for logon/pw every time you click on a record. Has anyone seen this behavior? Any thoughts on a fix? It's driving users crazy.

Microsoft has indicated this is a known issue with IE 10. No solution has been released yet. Here is a workaround provided by Microsoft:
Scenario 1:
- Logoff from your machine.
- Login back with your credentials and open outlook.
- Navigate through CRM.
- Open IE10 and browse to a public site
- Come back to outlook and navigate between CRM entities and check if you are able to reproduce the issue.
Scenario 2:
- Logoff from your machine.
- Login back with your credentials and open IE10
- Login to CRM from web client
- Now open outlook and try reproducing the issue.

Hi
We were facing the same problem. Then we noticed that there was clock difference between the client and the server. When we set the client's time to same with the server, the problem disappeared.

Yes, we did have that problem with another client. Valuable to check the clock.
