Any caveats before installing Windows 7 X64 Service Pack 1? RRS feed

    You're talking about installing on the server, the OP is asking about
    installing on the client.

    There's no need to uninstall the connector, just go ahead and install SP1.

    Well I tried and you cannot install SP1. It says the remove the installed service Pack first. Unfortunately there is no option in the Programs to remove the existing SP1 beta.

    I redid the hard drive on my client machine awhile back, and since it was so close to RTM of SP1, I decided not to reinstall the beta and just wait. Today, I installed SP1 on the client machine and everything works as it should. Well . . . the client database is broken again, but that happened on or about 2/18 or 19, whichever of my clients you want to believe. :(

    Getting ready to do a repair on Netty, since it was the first one to have backup fail after working for several days. Sigh . . .
