  • Assuming you are running Windows Vista:

Please reactivate/reset your Windows Vista installation activation using the telephone activation method:

You can get started with phone activation by typing "slui.exe 4"
(w/o the quotes) in the Start Search box in the Start Menu and pressing
    Enter.
The phone activation process takes about 6 minutes.

  • EXACTLY, We're all being punished for being genuine customers, while the pirates are sitting there laughing their asses off.

  • Yep, you've gotta love it when copy protection gets to the point that pirated software works better than the legal stuff.  Thats what we get for doing the right thing I guess.  I wish companies would put as much effort into making their software work as they put into trying to stop people from ripping it off.

    The issue has been resolved.

    Visit:  http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/default.aspx?displaylang=en
and click on "Validate Windows".  Afterward, log-off your account and
    log back on.
