Hi,
One of my user by mistake deleted campaign. Is there any why to get back this deleted campaign other than restoration of database.

The deletion service only runs once every 24 hours. If you stop the service quickly enough, you'll be able to undo the deletion state flag before the service deletes it.
If it's too late, then it's too late. There is no method of restoring the deleted records other than restoring the entire organisation from a backup, but then of course, you'll lose any records created or updated since the backup was taken. So the usual method involves restoring the backup to a new organization and painstakingly using the data to recreate the record.
On the bright side, you've just identified a "training opportunity" for that user ; )

Moving forward, I would recommend evaluating your system's permissions so most users are unable to delete entities.Monday, November 22, 2010 2:39 PM
