Finding Old Articles RRS feed

  • Question

  • Links are broken because microsft moved things.

    I find links, like:

    forums.microsft.com / MSDN / ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3637384 & SiteID=1

If I had an old link like this, how do I find its new home?

I had to add spaces because the question doesn't let me post links.

    Thanks

    Kam

  • Forum threads are no longer referenced like that. For example the message ID of this thread is ed683c60-3730-43d4-9659-331595aaebc9

For a short time the NNTP groups were exposed with a web interface. The NNTP groups were archived by deja news service that was bought out by google. So try searching there as well.

If you know more about the thread you can try searching to see if its archived here as well.
