Synctoy 2.1 and Sharepoint RRS feed

  • Question

  • One of the disadvantages of version 2.0 was the lack of syncing with a Sharepoint server, so I was very glad to see it being included in 2.1.  However, it doesn't work for me :-(.

It communicates with the Sharepoint server and can do a analysis of file differences, but once I execute the sync everything fails and gives me the following error:

SYNC: 01/26/2010 07:08:04:958: *** Error: Unknown error. A device attached to the system is not functioning. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007001F) Copying D:\TEST\xxxx.jpg to P:\TEST\xxxx.jpg

Anyone experience the same or perhaps know a resolution to the problem?

Hint for a next version:    Add the functionality to provide specific \user creditentials for a specific folder pair  (especially with Sharepoint syncs on different domains)

    Thank you very much

  • Hi -

Can you try uploading a file to the sharepoint server ( by copying to the P:\Test\.... folder NOT by uploading the file directly) and let us know what happens?
