Forums sites will be intermittently unavailable when? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is the message above about Forums sites will be intermittently unavailable..., really about today, February 25?

Or, will it be even worse tommorow?

I'm getting a lot of "Sorry, We were unable to service your request. Please try again later." messages this evening.

But then, it's after 6PM PST by now anyway.  These interruptions must be unscheduled.

  • We seemed to have a web server in the cluster go haywire. We've pulled that server out, so things should be back to normal, and we'll look into what happened to that server.

  • Yes, lots of error 500s.  Is okay now.  Sounds like unannounced work, I normally get a heads-up.  This has happened before.

Matt is correct.  A server in rotation was having problems and was pulled.  This issue was resovled as of 10:00 a.m. (PST) this morning (February 26th)

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

    Thanks!
