Why Microsoft doesn't include something in Visual Studio that will let developers program an application in C# or Visual Basic and export the app as HTML5 canvas + javascript CSS.... basically like Silverlight but based on HTML5 canvas CSS javascript.
The reason: PRODUCTIVITY It takes a fraction of the time and effort to create the same application in C#/Visual Basic than it does to do the same using HTML5 CSS and javascript. Silverlight was amazing because basically the programmer was
able to do anything that they wanted and put it into the browser with a minimum of time and effort.... yes, with lots of time and effort you can do the same thing using HTML5, CSS and javascript but at what cost???? it takes hours to do the same...
C#/Visual Basic applications should be able to run in any browser. How it is possible that a company with millions of dollars in resources and lots of smart people can't figure out a way of doing this.... please XAML Expression Blend!!!!!! so easy!!!! +
rich IDE with strong languages like C#/Visual Basic....
Microsoft is responsible for the mess that we have right now, because it is a mess out there... everyone is trying to redo everything in HTML 5 CSS and javascript we are back like 15 years..... How is it possible that Microsoft didn't see this coming!!!!!!!!!!!
Put C#/Visual Basic back in the browser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! somehow without a plugin but instead producing HTML 5, javascript and CSS ...
